Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University has made a declaration to associate itself with Delos, the wellness pioneer of the world. This alliance has been made with an aim to launch the first innovation and economic free zone of the Middle East. This strategic move adheres to the Dubai University Free Zones strategy resulting in the development of the emirate as a pivot center for youth support and providing better educational aids. The collaboration is pretty important for HBMSU as it has provided ways to many international partnerships for further development.
The senior officials of HBMSU have commented on the signing of MoU. According to them, this partnership will drive the services offered by HBMSU well and enable it to maintain sustainable development. It is expected that the MoU will be able to transform HBMSU into an eco-friendly learning community that is open to innovation, creativity, and excellence. The university is putting the maximum number of efforts to identify innovative and young learners and create the best human resource for the country. HBMSU is also seeking the WELL certification for the development, and once it receives the certification, it will be the first university in the Middle East to receive such an achievement. All the necessary health requirements will be met by Delos as a result of the collaboration.
Dr. Mansoor Al Awar, Chancellor of HBMSU also shared his views on this alliance. He continued by accepting the partnership with Delos to create the first innovative and free economic zone in the UAE. The partnership will closely work on the strategy laid down by the Crown Prince of Dubai as ?Dubai?s strategy for free university zones? to enhance the educational development in the region. He added, ?We are excited be working closely with them according to the criteria of ?Dubai?s strategy for free university zones? that was launched by H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai and President of the HBMSU, to promote the role of academic institutions supporting the national efforts towards establishing a new generation of creative and qualified graduates who can guide the country?s path towards embracing a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship?falling in line with the visions of the ?50-year Charter,? which clearly embodies the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make Dubai the best city in the world.?
Dr. Al Awar is also aware of the need for a strong partnership with Delos and keeping a healthy relationship between both the entities, to get notable achievements. The MoU will raise the bar of the education facilities provided by HBMSU and increase more development prospects for the country. He added: ?We remain highly confident in this key alliance with a leading global company like Delos as we continue to adopt the best sustainability practices. HBMSU is employing and adopting innovation to provide unique and creative health solutions for the overall well-being of our faculty members, administrative employees, and learners under the guidance of H.H. Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who has made innovation the center of the UAE?s sustainable development approach.?
According to the Chancellor of HBMSU, the application for WELL certification is evidence of the university?s keen dedication and commitment to providing the best services. The WELL certificate would bring international recognition to the university and enable it to achieve growth. He concluded with the benefits of the partnership and the advancements it will bring forth.
Paul Scialla, Founder and CEO of Delos applauded the alliance and thanked the university for showing interest. Delos and HBMSU have mutually agreed to build the free economic zone campus and lace the university with environment-friendly infrastructure while making the educational standard rise at the same time. The alliance will also research on health and wellness in different parts of the campus to detect any error and come up with the best services.
